Whipping extravaganza!

It's been an interesting week at Cape Trib Camping, with a visit of the World Champion Whip Cracking! Every night this week he has puts on an entertaining show with good fun and an obvious talent of whip cracking, very entertaining. A nice crowd gathered from the park and even a few locals, bringing along their chairs to enjoy the show. Afterwards, the kids bought their own whips, cracking all over the park and at it again in the morning. Maybe he's motivated the next big thing, right here at Cape Trib Camping!

More glorious sightings nearby of our local cassowary and his chick, which we will never grow tired of, they are so beautiful. Then we've seen a big female down at Marrja Botanic Walk a few times, sometimes with her mate.....must be breeding season?

More and more visitors are coming to the area and the park is brimming more every night. So if you want a spot, best to book ahead! The beach is well enjoyed during the day, as well as many book their tickets with the girls at the office to head out and enjoy the fabulous entertainment in the area. A lot of them even pick up guest from the park, how good's that?
